Default Lockup Switch for Vigilante 3200?

Ok I have a Rock On 4L60E with a Vig 3200 Nitrous Converter and was wondering if someone could post a link to where I can buy a switch to lockup the converter when needed. I have 3.73s and 275/50/17 (28" tall) M&H DRs,shifting at 6100rpm and my 3rd gear is only good for 118. Gear calculator says it should be good for 135. The only thing I can figure is the converter still slipping as Im going down the track is robbing me of my gear. Would like 3rd gear to at least be good for 120-122 as Im trapping that right now running into overdrive. How much MPH would I gain by locking it up? Any help would be appreciated.

Back in 2000 when i did it, i use to lock it up at 5600 rpms in 2nd and 3rd. But i had heads and cam and shifted at 6500. I was running a 3.42 gear with a 3600vig and would gain 2mph and about .15-.20 tenths from it.

If you replaced a 60e with the 80E its actually possible to get the PCM to do it for you even if is in a full manual unit. If not its simply a matter or wiring a toggle switch to ground the solenoid and supplying power to it on the 80e .
You can also do it on the 60e if PWM has been mechanically eliminated simply by grounding the tan wire with the black stripe, However you will need to delete the test for the code TCC SOLENOID ELECTRICAL

Do not Do this. Convereter Clutches are not designed for this much TQ. Better to get the converter fixed Vs wrecking your trans when the lining goes up in smoke.

Well my converter is fine I am just a full manual valve body and would rather run the switch and control it myself than go through the hassle of a PCM tune/swap, etc. Soooo if anyone wants to answer for my sake even though it is not my thread by all means you are more than appreciated !

Nothing is wrong with my converter though. It flashes to exactly 3200 on the bottle. Yet Im still running out of gear. Somehow.

What converter to dyou have ? could be the trans slipping or it could be that the converter is not coupling well. Locking up the clutch is not the answer.

you will need to make sure the trans has a Selenoid Pink wire Key on hot and put the tan w black and the brown wire together and make them goto ground.

That will make the converter work.
