B&M 70266 SuperCooler 58.95 shipped NEW
non-sponsor link
* Rigid stacked-plate design is resistant to damage, and much better at cooling than ordinary 'fin and tube' coolers
* Constructed from black finished lightweight aluminum alloy for maximum corrosion resistance
* 11" x 8" x 1-1/2" racing model is rated at 20,500 BTU, and pressure tested to 200 PSI
* Fluxless, oven brazed construction is vibration resistant
* Multiple oil flow paths for maximum cooling efficiency
Seems like a pretty good deal since everybody else wanted $75 and $10 for shipping.

Wow great price, good find! few questions though....
1- Is this cooler efficient enough to be used alone ie- bypassing the stock cooler?
2- Can a cold air kit be used with this since its so big, 11" x 8" x 1-1/2" ?
My 80K trans and converter are stock except for an aggressive shift kit. So this being pretty cheap gives me a little piece of mind. Also i would like to help lower engine temps and i'm sure bypassing the tranny lines will help. But i want to make sure this cooler can get the job done by its self. Also i have done the free ram-air mod, so a front mounted tranny cooler would definately heat the intake air, so i would want to install a cold air kit, but will this block that? and since its so large can this cooler be "dope" mounted? sorry to the OP for the

I am using it as the only cooler because I am going from a M6. As far as the cold air intake. If I had to chose I would choose the trans cooler because of the price of a new tranny and although good you don't really need a cold air intake.
