2 to 1 gear change?? I took my 4L60 out and swapped for a TH400 as it best suits my future plans for my car. But the main reason is one day i was driving with the 4l60 (it was built with a 3200 stall) and i went to stop at a light and it would not downshift from 2nd to 1st. It only did it that one time but got me nervous and made me want to speed up the process on my swap. I have the tranny still but have not opened it. Any one else had this happen or have idea as to what may have caused this. No trouble codes were thrown. Tranny was maybe a year old when this happened. I change the fluid in it about every 3-4 months. more if im spraying it a lot.

so i may have just over reacted? Thanks for the input. Is it a hard thing to replace? I love my 400 and wont go back. i am now trying to sell the 4l60 wiht the converter so if anyone knows anyone interested pm me.
