Default in/out cooler lines?

Simple enough question: on a 98 camaro a4, on the case of the trans in terms of top and bottom, which line is the fluid out and which is the return? I'm hooking up a gauge but I need to know where to put the sending unit. Thanks

awesome thanks, now does it matter which one i connect where on the stock radiator cooler?

dont remember. if i had to guess i would say the top is in on the radiator. let gravity work
