Default stock converter lockup on deceleration?

i'm trying to tune in some tcc apply into my performance mode (toggled with switch) which won't be for normal driving, but for autox or cornering on some backroads on occaision.

my concern is what would be ok for the stock converter?
the way i have it setup now, there is no part-throttle shifting (remains in gear) and i have tcc applied in 2nd and 3rd up to about 38% throttle and tcc remains applied at 0% throttle.
i'm thinking the converter should be ok up to 38% throttle, but what about the deceleration?

as it is, tcc is applied while letting off the throttle at pretty much any speed.

any suggestions? the tranny has been built up a little, but will this burn up the stock converter?

First , I don't think it is a good idea to lock the converter in 2cd gear at all!
As far as converter lockup on decel , I think that would be asking for trouble . When you are completely out of the throttle your line pressure is at a minimum . This is not good on any clutches or bands or the converter .
No line or throttle pressure means not enough clamping force on the friction elements !! This will burn them up .
