Default 4l60e longetivity after stall

i tried to do a search but couldn't really find anything. I'm just wondering if i put in a 3600 stall with full bolt ons, how long can i expect to have the tranny to last before it takes a **** on me. assuming i beat on her regularly since its my DD during 6-9 months of the year. also is there anything i can do to make the tranny last longer once i put in the stall?

Get the biggest cooler you can fit in your car.

I removed the A/C from mine, so I have plenty of room in front of the radiator.

Yeah, just get the biggest cooler you can fit in there...

But if your tranny is already giving signs of malfunction, ill address that first, because theres a chance that if the transmission blows, your TC can be affected.

so if i get a big cooler and change the fluid more often it should last just as long as if i didn't put one in, because ive heard some people say their trans went out after 10k because of the converter.

I have had mine in for over 10k and just changed the fluid for the first time about 2500miles ago and no probs, even after many dyno pulls over 500rwhp and multiple Tx to Ga trips.

Well, most likely, you will extends its lifetime...but the 4L60E is like the 10 bolt.... you never know when they are going to break...but one thing is sure, they will give up.

i think the life of your tranny seriously depends on how u drive. if your the type to manually shift an auto.., go to the track every weekend, and dog the hell out your car doin donuts then yeah your tranny will grenade. ive put about 1,000 miles since my cam/converter and its been doing good so far.(knock on wood) but i never dog it.. i pretty much baby my car.
