Default 2nd gear shifts with stall
I had my LS1 tuned with the stock converter at 315rwhp. When it hit 2nd gear under WOT (or close to WOT) the car would get sideways. I had a TCI 3500 stall put in and now I might get a chirp out of 2nd. It shifts fine. I am not sure if I should get a re-tune to get back my beast, OR is this normal? My friends 99' Z28 has a stall and gets sideways in 2nd. Also I have 373s.

The stall will tend to soften the feel of the shift, However the shift it self has not changed its still as firm as it was just cushioned

souds like the stall may be to much. or its not locking, what rpm are you shifting
