yank convertor problems 4l80e
i acquired a yank py3400/4l80els1 convertor. now i got this out a customer's F-body with LS1. went to install it in my car which has 6.0/4l80e out of 03 chevy van. the convertor went right together. went to bolt on my flywheel the holes were off.
just wondering if there was a special flywheel that would be necessary or should i just make what i have work?
just wondering if anyone else ran into this problem
thanks for help

none of them line up. when i took it out of customer's car there was only three bolts as opposed to stock was 6. three of the bolts are really close that i could prob touch up the flexplate with die grinder and work fine. but just wanted to see if anyone else ran into this problem

Do you have stock converter..bet it lines up..? As I said almost 100% sure you need a ls1 or tci ls1 converter as the yank stall is made to bolt to the ls1 flywheels.Stock 480le stalls are different bolt patterns.. a quick call to yank should confirm this. OR you can sell me that stall converter..

i don't feel like pulling trans back out. just gonna notch it a hair with die grinder for now.
