Default 4l80e manuel v/b

are any of you running the 4l80e without the computer and with the manuel valve body? i was wondering how it worked out, if it was worth the price diff as opposed to using a computer
mine isnt a daily driver, if it was i wouldnt even consider the manuel option
good or bad, would like to hear thoughts on it-thanks

There is nothing wrong with daily driving a manual valve body car. It is still going to have vacuum modulation which will control the line pressure. Light throttle high vacuum it won't slam you in the back. But when you're getting on it you get hard shifts. Plus with the price it's way cheaper than a computer to control it. http://www.transmissionpartsusa.com/...-000469303.htm

The full manual VB's work well on the 4L80E. Is this for your Chevelle?
There are some good reasons to go electronic though. I'll email you and give you some specifics later, gotta go catch a flight...
