Default Torque Converter Bolts are STUCK

Hey guys, I've just spend the last few hours trying to break free my torque converter bolts. I've tried everything, i've had freakishly large men, impact guns, heat, fluids, hammers, everything short of grinding off the heads of on them.

I was wondering, have any of you had this bad of a luck on it??

I did want to mention also these ARE NOT the allen bolts i was expecting to find, they are infact regular hex bolts! Not sure what, but they may be ARP's so who knows....

Anywho, what do you guys reccomend, i'm very tired and need this car back on the road ASAP.

I pulled mine out yesterday and two were realtively lose and one was tight. I just took a hammer and beat on the wrench until the one broke loose.

If a impact wrench didnt get it though id say your gonna have to break out the sawzall.

If you are replacing the converter use a small torch carefully to heat the bolts then the should come out pretty easy

I tried heat, trust me, but regardless, i finally got them off.

I ended up getting one of my big craftsmen jacks and using that handle to hold the crank in place, then i got another jack handle and a box end wrench and some extra muscle.

Thanks for the help!

PS Broke a 1/2" snap-on breaker bar trying to take them off
