Default 4L60E Swap

Just need to verify that a 2000 or 2001 4l60E out of a ls1 camaro will fit in a 98 without modification. Never done a strait swap for the same trans from different years.

They will swap out directly. No differences that I have ever heard of.

Good luck!

yes 98-02 are the same

the difference being in the Lt1 cars, from 93-94, then 95 all on its own, and then 96-97... but 98-02 should work without a hitch.
