I would check out Circle D. I have heard nothing but good things from them and their converters look very high quality and well built.

What are your goals with the car. Do you want better street manors or better performance at the track. Do you have any suspension mods? What tires are you running or plan on running? Any future upgrades?

Here are my suggestions:
1. 11" 3200 great street manors, decent performance = $350
2. 9.5" 3200, Billet series, "2C" good street manors, good performance =$750
3. 9.5" 3600, Billet series, "3C/4C" decent street manors, great performance = $750

Here is a link to the Billet series

We machine our billet pieces in house, the best in the industry!

From my experience with the Yank SS3600 and 3.73 gears, it drives and feels like stock..but obviously gives my car great performance.

I wish I would have gone with a SS4000 or other large stall.

no suspension mods... i mainly street race but every once in awhile i throw on my slicks and go to the strip... im running 285 18's on back and i believe my slicks are 28's or 26's, im about to rebuild my tranny and add a cooler so while its out i need a good converter. right now im leaning towards a 3600...

Yank SS3600 is a very popular street converter. I had the SS4000 and it drove great and was surprisingly tight for it's stall speed. The SS3600 would be that much tighter. It will also allow you to grow somewhat if you plan on adding a cam or nitrous down the road.

Vig and Circle D are also great options!
