Well at least the Trailblazer gets an LS2. As for the Malibu SS? Sheesh I was only making a joke when I suggested it a few months ago. Makes sense though seeing as how Pontiac has a higher powered version of the G6 with the same 3.9L pushrod motor. I have to say that the exterior of the Malibu SS looks much better than the non SS variants although it is still not a car I'd want to own.
The whoring out of the SS badge coupled with the fact that GM has killed its plans to bring Zeta stateside in order to speed up the introduction of its full sized trucks makes me sick to my stomach.

That Ford is going to be fast as hell. 6speed Auto/AWD, 390 horsepower SC4.6? Wow add the basic Cobra bolt ons with a smaller pulley/exhaust and pick up the usual 100 horsepower. Hopefully the SS Trailblazer has the 6-speed auto as well.

The Malibu? Now that does not deserve the SS badge.

What size rear end do the trailbazer's have? The add says optional AWD and 4.10 gearing. That's a lot of power for the 10 bolt.

For the record, very, very few impala folks upgrade from the 8.5 to anything else. There have even been guys pulling 1.4 sixty foot times with them in these 2 ton land barges
