value question
I have a friend who is considering selling his V, just wanted an idea on where people think prices are at.
2005 Stealth Grey
FG2 shocks
Completely bone stock, down to the 1-4 skip shift
15,000 miles
1-owner
mint condition
Thoughts on private party pricing for a reasonable sale (not next day, but not 6-months of slowly lowering the price either)

I just paid 20K for a bone stock Black 04 with 18,000 miles. Original owner no warranty. Low miles have their own set of problems. The mileage doesn't call for maintenance but the time does. Also, it doesn't have enough miles for any issues to come up that would have been covered by the factory warranty.

Thanks guys, and thanks for that link kl2onik.
I don't think these cars are so old as to have age problems from lack of use. I wouldn't be concerned about buying a 5-8 year old car with 10-20k miles. Maybe if it had like 5 miles, but even then it's not old enough that I'd be too concerned. I think low miles are still a plus.
Not that it proves it, but I bought mine a year ago w/ 13k miles. Only issues have been a motor mount and a diff bushing, though the car went through two batteries and the diff seal recall/TSB with the previous owner.
$20k is the ballpark I was thinking as well, though I'm surprised you guys don't like the color? If anyone else has price opinions, I'd still be interested to hear them.

You're buying a 55k car that's been driven for 1 year for 20k, that's a good deal.
Worst case you have to replace the top 4 issues out of pocket, then you're at about 25k. Not bad..
The new car smell is worth the extra cash.
