My E67 setup may be a dead dream.

I have one more trick up my sleeve, i will try and cut all ties of any Class 2 communication, if that works, GREAT. If it doesnt back to stock...

I will then install the better of my two LS6 harnesses, with the LPE 58 to 24 converter.

I have opened talks with my local dealer for the PROEFI, he seems hesitant, but i want the best ECU for this car. I was hopin another GM unit will do the trick, but it seems that once triggered the VATS just doesnt go away...

I should have an answer tomorrow...

It feels like you've been bashing your head against the wall on the E67 mod for a long time now. Why are you so determined? If everything went exactly to plan, what would the E67 ECU do for you?

It has better ignition control, and better injector control. My car idled and drove much better with it than with the pcm...

Not to mention the abs would run better as well as a handful of other options.

Anybody have the pinout diagram for a 2009+ cts-v?

Did some diggin and found the zr1 and V2 share similar pinouts.

I compared that to an 06/07 pinout and they are similar, but not exact. A few wires have to be added and swapped to create a more exact match.

I was goin to go with a pro112, but it seams it is an ecu swap more so than a piggyback like the 128.

Same processin power, but the 128 allows me to run the stock ecu. Which is needed since the cranking functions are different between the v2 and V. Same wbo2 options, and also allows the abs to function properly.

Its not expensive to upgrade, i am just stuck, my current ecu will allow flashing and reading of tune, but it wont allow me to log and run the engine.

No one seems to have an answer but all say for me to return to my older pcm, which i do not want to do.

This reminds me of my obsession with the transmission. Once you set your mind on it..I get it.

I see you refer to pinouts a lot but still seem to be having issues with the newer ECU. Is it possible that you're getting into nit-picky realm of impedance and such? Maybe you have it hooked up right but the later ECU is just that picky? Forgive me if I am off base; I've read your thread in pieces over time and honestly a little confused as to what exactly is IN the car right now.

I have a stroked ls3 with ported ls9 heads and an assortment of complimentary parts.

I am runnin a ls7 drysump system, which took me forever to install, and get right

I feel the ecm is lookin for the bcm and cause it doesnt see a 120ohm resistor it thinks the circuit is open and this not workin.

I will install a 120ohm resistor to the dlc and see if that will work. I dont need the ecm to communicate with the car, i just need it to run the engine...

Then i can install the proefi and run till i run out of fuel...

Proefi is only for the gen 2 E67 modules...No exceptions

Am swappin my body IP harness from an 05 to 06, then reprogrammin the car as an 06.

Gave to order to my electricians, they will remove the dash and replace the body harness. I will also clean up my bottom gauge pod arrangement, too many wires.

Family wants to go on a vaca so...

I got the new cruise control switch as well as other little add ons not found on the 05.

I will use the chinese tech 2 and repogram the car as an 07 and run this car

Stubbornness is no longer keepin me from goin backwards, this is personal now...

Nice to hear you are making progress again. This makes me glad I happened to start with a 2007 by dumb luck. I was looking for all of the above and I could see myself trying to mimic your work on an 04-05 and setting my car on fire after half of what you've posted here.

So I want to do the base model DIC so I can get a nicer head unit installed and have been on the fence about the Chinese Tech II. Any limitations compared to a GM unit? Will it do everything I need? Also if you found best price/brand/seller that would help as well. Seems to be a real popular item in knock-off land.
