i don't think you'd have to be concerned about wheel bearings or a 2.5" spacer so long as you got a spacer that had a set of studs of it's own and you bolted the spacer to the existing hub. having super long studs would not be a good idea.

Is it the trailing arm or the subframe mount that's hitting?

Ok, a 315/30R20 fits with a 25mm spacer. But the michelin 325/25R20 is about 9mm wider for the rim protector, and slightly smaller in dia...Looks like i will have to wait for the tires to be available before i make any more progress...I talked with my body shop Engineer, and he seems very confident if i need to cut the subframe.

Fronts are done, so i am happy.

Oil lines are all done, and while i wait i will be installin all the needed electronics and vacuum pumps.

Will be testing out the car later on this week. I will then flush out the engine, pressurize the oil lines, and give her a crank and see what issues pop up...

Found the tires, tirerack is on b/o till november.

Just adjustin the oil hoses so they are far from the exhaust before i hit the wall in failures. Will also be installin a plate in my oil tank to avoid the oil being sucked into the air breather line...

Made some wicked brackets for the three stage meth. Cleaned the airfilter and will tackle the intake manifold and get this puppy started...

I could have used normal jack stands but steel on steel slips. Wood is a lot better and doesnt ruin anything. The wood is bundled properly together...

Its been like this for a few months so i am not too worried

There is a long holiday so i am stuck with the fam. After with it would be time for me crack the whip on this and spit it out so i may see the fruits of my expenditures...

So she is on her own wheels and tires now...So far i have a 25mm rear spacer to help the wheels clear the body. May go to a 7/8 once i get the alignment done and know she isnt goin to rub...

Enjoy

My plan is to pull the rear fender out a little more and the front fender will get slightly sharper lines through sanding..

I will also install underskirts that stick out the sides just a little less then the tires do.

I will be pressurizing my oil system with the Motive power fill and 30psi of pressure. this way i have full oil without punishing the oil pump too much...

I have my own creation for the diff cooler where i get to also install a nice rear diffuser to bring her fat *** closer to the ground...

That ZR1 wheel looks great on the V! The sand has to be a pain over there.

The sand isnt a problem till i start to rub on it...I try and wipe the section i am workin on, but its no use the sand comes again...

I am now in the search for tie rod ends to help my front wheels come to proper alignment

Problem solved....

I drilled into the steering tie rod by 10mm, then cut 7mm of the end. I will also reduce the lock nut by 3mm. So far i will have slight toe in.

I found with all my chassis alterations i can have 6 degrees of Neg camber on the front wheels. A bit much, but its an option for me if i want to be real serious about racing my car...
