I saw how the rear spreads when i hit it, so i designed it in a way that keeps both sides inline and centered. So they move together and stay in their locations. Hopefully i dont rip them m10 bolts out of their locations...

I toyed with the idea of swappin the harness a few yrs ago, but didnt understand why it didnt work.

So this time around i researched it and found i needed to do a few upgrades to the harnesses to get them to work.

Additionally the e67 ecu is superior to the pcm for better ignition timin, faster processor speed, better traction control, and better fuel injection control

I am so close to finishin its not funny any more the new harness works minus cruise control.

....and waaaay worse for tuning anything over 500 rwhp or boost. Scale the entire tune instead of upgrading the OS.

What makes you say that?

The e67 ecu is used on zr1, v8 trailblazers, and i have read great reviews about this ecu...

Possibly different for EFILive, but HpTuners hasn't supported the E67 for the CTS-V with upgraded operating systems to expand the parameters. Many items have max values that are way less than higher Hp cars require. Example, you have to scale the tune by 48% to fit all the values from ID1000's into the IFR table, max MAF numbers support only 550 rwHp max...

^ What he said. There are lots of little drivability things as well. Integration delay for the O2s is my pet peeve. Also, things like positive timing adjustments in the IAT timing table not working but negative working fine... Because very few people run this OS finding someone that really knows what is going on is nearly impossible.

The hardware is good make no mistake. However, take a look at the pinouts for these e67 ecus. They're different. I assume these ECUs are using FPGAs and GM is not requiring a standard wiring interface. Therefore, you can't just blast in a new OS and have the benefits of the ZR1 or trailblazer OS. You would have to do a harness swap to pull it off. I have seriously considered buying a CTS V2 ECU and harness and swapping it into my V1. A LOT of my current issues would disappear (a few new ones would likely pop up). Bottom line is the OS on the V1s sux.

The zr1 is canbus and so is the new v2 ctsvs 100% but the trailblazer until recently is still class 2 which we need.

Btw isnt the pcm limited to the same maf restrictions as the e67?
512g/s

But the ve is easier to adjust vs the virtual ve on the e67

I've got no experience tuning aside from loading and unloading tunes, but seeing as much money as we have spent on these things, how come you never looked into just a Bosch motorsports ecu and abs setup? It probably would open up unlimited possibilities...

Got the Pn and sent my minions to search the local scene for the nut...Thank you Rockauto

So Latest achievement today was i resolved my oil lines touchin the headers, but what a pita. I ended up swappin the hoses, using hose clamps and flippin the output so clearance is now plenty, bleed the system just to remove it again and install another 90 elbow on the output so the hose flows easier with longevity in mind. My friend hates me today, but i got him a nice lunch so he calmed down a little...

I installed the rear tires and in the "race configuration, the coilover touches the wheels. *sigh*

I am making new shock bottoms pullin the shock inwards 10mm, which should give me the clearance i need...

I am also goin to install my new innovate dual WB sensors so i may have control of both banks and not just one. I calibrated the outputs so 14.7=450mv

Once i close up these little tasks i will start her and try and find any new issues.

The dark pic is the one with the shock still attached to the rear knuckle. The nice clear shot has the shock disconnected... But you get the idea.

-The clutch master cyl is finally in but i have to get a new hose as the oem is too big in dia
-Bled the system only to find out they used the wrong hose..Kept getting dirty and i flushed it three times, EPDM hose is NEEDED not hydraulic hose...
-I had to grind a little off the hose crimp so the headers doesnt touch it.

250f for 15 mins in my box oven barely did the job...

Next time i will do 250f for 20mins...

I will need to buy another set of lights as my drivers side looks haggard. Plus i want all black and not grey.

Butyl rubber for reassembly
