That black chrome on silver looked great. I like your grey accessory wheels too. Much better than chrome.

def looks super clean! I dont like chrome on my V im dying to get the chrome grille off lol! what ive been picturing in my mind is a matte black or even gunmetal face on a polished lip. or maybe even a brushed face on a polished lip. I just think with the red car it would look best on black rims. but I dont like solid black rims so thats where the polished lip comes into play!

if you're getting black wheels it's usually best to go up one more size in diameter so that they don't look smaller than they actually are.

i'm actually going to be going with a different color on my wheels this winter. dark wheels are so hard to capture in pictures and they just wash out the rest of the car. they look alright in direct sunlight, but any other time there's just nothing there. it's a black hole in the fenders.

Sell. He should SELL them to you.

SELL verb (!) sell - sold - sold => to give something to someone else in return for money

Examples:

This page is intended to help vendors find out how to sell (verb) goods on eBay.

The shop sells (verb) drinks and snacks.

Mike buys and sells (verb) options and stocks to make money.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

SALE noun (!) => an act of exchanging something for money

Examples:

The building company gets 15 % commission on each house sale (noun).

The entire week following Christmas is a bargain hunter’s dream as stores deeply discount merchandise for quick sales (noun) at year end.

Maybe he wanted them delivered by boat...SAIL them to me. It's expensive, but maybe the wheels are cheap to make up for the SAILing.

I can't hear any of this other noise over those CCW T140s. I always wanted a set of CCWs on previous cars but never had the money. I now have something to aim for eventually.

What he is telling you is that regardless on those wheels, 5-lug conversion can cost you a grand or more..especially if you aren't already in the market for new brakes.
