I honestly feel that was a decent price for both the buyer and myself.

Waiting for the right buyer is always key. Big money difference between having and wanting to sell.

Default Bought an 06 CTS V

Bought an 06 CTS V with 69k and a clean title for 10.5k. Felt pretty good about buying that car below book. Book at 11.5k is silly low given that good cared for cars with those miles seem to be 16-19k if you want a clean title.

Did you find somebody desperate to get rid of it or did you get it on a trade-in? Great deal

I paid 15 grand for my 06 with 136 thousand car was well kept up i don't drive the car in the winter or rain for that sake lol. Always garage stored. I love my V1 to best of both worlds now i don't pound on the car either haven't seen a drag strip since i bought it 3yrs ago, that is why i kept my F-Body.

was that at a dealership? $15k with 136k miles sounds steep unless it had a Maggie or something

Mine was 07 with about 100K but I think I would have paid 15K had the wheel paint been in a little better shape and tires been less worn. I was mid 13s in the end. I also flew out and drove back 8 hours. So there's the difference in price anyway in time and money.

But damn; this is a snapping great deal. Suspiciously great but perhaps that's my jealousy talking.

I might put mine up. 80,000 miles, tastefully modded and very, very clean. See how this market is. It has a maggie, corsa, super sports, no faded badges, radio control perfect, silver with black interior, rare non sunroof car that has no issues against a stock V2. $15,000 spent in quality mods. All mods have less then 8000 miles on them. Car moves!

I am not sure as of yet. I havent seen anything that compares that has sold.

Car also has Stainless Works headers that arent installed yet. Will make 500 rwhp or just over with those....

Car is a 2004. Rare beast with no roof (lighter).

Z51 that's a pretty nice setup but you'll be really disappointed in sale price. High mileage V2s are in the mid $20k range now continues to suppress the value of the V1.

Sunroof is actually really light in this car compared to most vehicles. Other than the glass it's just a couple metal rails and a very surprisingly small electric motor. When I took my headliner off I was expecting to see a lot more going on up there.

No it was a private sale only thing done with the car muffler delete K&N CAI. I live on the east coast of Canada, not to many of V's around i am the only V, owner in our group. Everybody else has F-Body's or Mustangs. I was looking on the Classifieds the other day a 04 with full exhaust can not remeber mileage wanted 20 grand. Big money..

I had my sunroof slid open for the first time in... years? yesterday. A piece of the accordion style plastic fell on my head. One of the air deflector arms was broken when I bought it, which makes it annoying to close and likely that I'll end up with grease on my hand. I normally just pop it up for some ventilation. I swear every damn piece of plastic or rubber on this car absolutely goes to **** after 10 years.

I just gave 12k+ ttl for a bone stock 84k mile 05. This post is just for data purposes, at the time of posting I "feel" like it was a mediocre deal, I didn't knock it out of the park and I don't again, "feel" like I got completely taken. It was the only sub 100k example within 250 miles...
