How many Vs were produced in 2004 and 2005?
A source has told me the following information:

2005 CTS-Vs: 1330 Built and 1290 Sold.

Number sold as of May 24, 2005

thanks PA

Ahhh... more exclusive than I thought..5,320 a lot less than the 7,500 said earlier. Not good..for the general anyway..

How can we officially get the numbers on this? My old roomate got exact numbers from so trans am place. If there is less then 1300 sold in 05 with 4 colors, how rare are these cars? Is it me or these numbers seem low? I thought I was told 11,000.

I pulled those numbers from the Cadillac forum web site. As you can see the numbers are production counts as of May 24th 05. I do not know as to how many of these GM will be putting out but perhaps the 11,000 number is a total production number, I don't know.

I wanted to kick this back to the top. I am interested in the production numbers by year also. I am hoping to buy one later this year when someone sells b/c of the cost of gas! Any chance the production numbers are available by color?

I agree with someone who said this was rediculously hard to get. I had a Torch Red '04 Cobra and I had all the data the same day I bought it (used) - 690 red coupes. The V is it's replacement with room for child seats!

I think there was a problem getting good numbers on this because Cadillac didn't separate the CTS-V sales from the CTS in their production numbers. I can't understand why but I read that somewhere.
