Default headers and exhaust question

I have the Magnaflow cat back and was wondering if when I get headers if I can fit the 3" backing of headers to my 2 1/2" Magnaflow......If i dont get cats will there be a gap? Whats the deal? Im not a pro

if the outlets are 3" they wont fit on the 2.5" maganaflow....if you dont get cats youll probably have to get some pipe for where the cats were. Im not too sure on what you have to do about the o2 sensors tho.

You can get step downs from 3 inch to 2 1/2 inch I did that with my headers wich is also 3 to 2 1/2 duels

There might be a flow restriction going from 3 inch to the 2 1/2 inch catabck.

We have the Kooks LT headers for the CTS-V in stock with cats. These are the ones that I highly recommend to our customers.

chad: I would love to get the KOOKS more than anything, but they are pricy...im on more of a used set of headers budget

If you can not find a used set of headers I will see what I can do for you on a new set of headers.
