Supercharger options

Supercharger options
So I have an 04 V LS6 and I am looking into getting a supercharger. I know Magnuson offers the MP112 bolt on kit. I was wondering if they offer the mp 122 as a bolt on kit as well? Also Does anyone offer a TVS2300 kit? I would love to fit that on my car. What about whipple? An options for a "kit"? I will have the money in Jan to make this happen, I already have long tbes and full exhaust CAI and all the mounts, bushings, axles and rear cradle brace needed. I am looking for a "how to" or a "kit" for something bigger than the 112. I would also like input on what cams I should be looking at. I have stock heads and I really dont want to take them off and work them right now. I would just have the Cam installed and put the blower on myself. My father has his own shop so I wont be working off my back or anything cause I am spolied with a lift and every tool I can think of. Any input would be great, constructive feed back...

Didnt EPP fit a procharger D1SC kit from a GTO on our cars? I remember there being a lot of cutting and fabbing... but i know there are a few members on here running the F1A blowers.

I am not interested in a procharger, I dont like the set-up in our cars. Rear facing procharger thats "put together" isn't my thing. Looking for more input on the mp122/TVS1900-2300/whipple.... Some one on here has to have an answer!

I converted a 112 kit to a 122 kit by changing the blower assembly on the origional 112 kit. When you go to a 122 be sure to budget in a cowl hood and prob a 90mm throttle body. It was a learning experience to say the least. If you have no supercharger now i would look at trying to find a tvs 1900 kit or possibly a 2300 kit but it will have to be put together by someone like Hendrix Engineering or Lingenfelter. Talk to Dragonrace.com for a Whipple. They are the only company I know doing a whipple on the cts-v. Its the route i would ultimately like to go if i was starting over. If you need any help or pics on the 122 let me know. Good luck on the build.

Why don't you want the Maggie 112? You can make 500-550rwhp and loads of torque with full exhaust and mild custom cam. Considering just about anything over 550rwhp on the street is overkill the only reason for more then that in a street car would be for bragging rights.
If you really are set on making more then 600rwhp then go with the tvs1900. The 1900 is the perfect size blower for the LS6 or LS2 and will make more torque and give a better power curve throught the entire powerband with those engines compared to the 2300 while still giving you room to grow and make close to 800rwhp if that's what you wanted.
Shoot me a pm if you have any questions about the maggies.

I want to make the 550 mark, thats my goal. I also dont want to run a blower full tilt to get there either. Maybe a 1900 kit but I wouldnt mind running a 2300 and having it breath easy to get me there. Its all in the tune when it comes down to having it be reliable so thats why I wanted something that wasnt going to have to work so hard. I also have yet to read up on an ls6 with a MP112 making 550 with a cam stock internals and exhaust. So I think I am going to have to call hendrix up because nobody really on this forum has much info to offer. Only platform I have been on with so liitle information on forced induction modding. Answer = MP112..... thats it.....?

cam+112+long tubes+heads would get you to 550 no problem and itd all be bolt on.

deedubb made 500 without heads or a cam on his ls6. I would expect around 80+rwhp with the right heads/cam combo and tune. youll likely be about maxed out with the 112 at that point but youll be there.

Deedub is also running E85 which is huge with positive displacement blowers. Onebadcad barely made over 500 with a 383 H/C etc... on pump gas. Torque was almost 550-560 I believe but not HP. The 112 is just too small for big hp #'s on a 346. Hence why the 122 1900 and 2300 are now offered for vehicles still in production.
I spoke with Lingengfelter in regards to the 1900 kit they have and they do not do it out of house. You have to ship your car there which adds 500 or so to the 11K price for 500 rwhp. No thanks.

Deedub is also like a mile high! His elevation is killing his car. My car sits right at 500 on 91 no meth and still needs some tuning. I know there is more because the last few things I haven't tuned yet. Like the long tubes and cam and the bump from a 2.8" to a 2.7" blower pulley. I pretty much have everything but heads done to my car.
