Default Just Picked Up An 05 V!

Just picked it up Saturday, and loving it! It's an 05 Stealth Grey V, with 37K on the clock. After TT&L I ended up paying $19.5, and they threw in a 5year/100k mile power-train warranty for free! I only have a couple pics. Going to take some more when I get a chance to properly wash, polish, and wax it. I didn't want the dealerships porters touching it.

Here are my two crappy cell phone pics.

UUC if you want to spend 400 bucks

Katech or B&M if you want to spend 260-ish

or get a hold of the handful of members that sell there own custom short shifter. Brian, aka 07CTS-V here and PISNUOFF on Cadillac Forums has one. And I have heard nothing but good things about his ****.

I have the Katech.

I recently bought an 06, and I don't see what the problem is with the factory shifter. I've never had problems hitting the gears (other than reverse sometimes). My first mod was CAGS. My second one will be heads and cam going in this weekend.

When does that 5yr warranty go into effect? If its from the date the car was put into service when it was new you probably have like two months left.

In 05, the warranty that they came with was a 4 yr 50,000 mile for basis, powertain, and road side.

The CAGS elimination will void most of it, at least according to the dealer I took my car too when I had transmission issues. But mine was turned off with the tune, and not with the connector.

Funny since that feature probably hurts 4th gear more than anything. CAGS delete should be beneficial to just about everything except maybe the clutch.
