Any modded, low mileage V1's for sale?
Well I pretty much have my cobra sold right now and might be looking to get back into a V1. 60k or less miles and atleast headers and boltons. Not positive if I want another but just seeing whats out there. Cash buyer too. If i dont buy 1 I will probably hold off till next spring and buy a 97-98 Supra.

How much are you looking to spend?
My car is an 04 with g-force 9", maggie, omega thermistor mod, LT's, full magnaflow after headers, plx digital boost and wideband o2, brand new cs motor mounts and trans mount, new cs shifter bushings and just under 42k on the clock. pm if interested.

I would not pay more than 23-24 for a modded V1 as would most with a brain in their head. thats all they are worth. An 06 with 48k is worth 20.5-22 at best. Trade in value is barely 18k. I sold my car with boltons in April with 44k for 19.5. 03 Cobras are worth more and with 10-15k invested still only bring 2-3k over value and that is tough to get today.
When you mod a car you cannot expect someone to pay you back for dumping money into a depreciating asset. A good rule of thumb is take half of what you invested and use that as a starting negotiating point. Every car i have owned going back to my dsm i bought new in 98 and my STI I bought new in 03 has been modded. I lost my shirt on it. V2 destroyed the market on the V1. I think people think these cars are more than they are
Lol Cole, I was thinking the same thing. I stay in this price range though as i like not having car payments. I have a soft spot for V1's for some reason too.

Auto trader prices are more inline with the market. People on forums tend to over value their cars.

On a serious note though, i really do have a soft spot for the V1. I've owned many vehicles but this car is just so easy to like. lol

I dont know what it is but i love the v1 and always have. Lowered with a nice set of wheels, they are so sexy.
