New body parts going to be made, need some input Hey guys! Some of you may know this, but I'm a vendor over on corvetteforum.com anyway I have a couple manufacturers that make all kinds of parts for me, hoods, bumpers, fenders etc. Anyway they called me today because I had mentioned to a manger there that I had an 04 V. Anyway they want to use my car for test fitting and building a complete body kit, and hood. I'm not sure what they had in mind, but if they are using my car, I will have some say in what they build, I definitely want to keep it classy, but still somewhat aggressive. Anyone have some thoughts, pix etc of what they'd like to see built, I could definitely show them and see what we can do. Thanks

I think what people want to see most are some hood options and possibly spoilers. I know when I had my V the thing I though lacked most about the V was the plain hood especially considering the STS-V and XLR-V had a specially designed hood for the V.

Yea, that's what I figured, but they want to make everything so I say go for it. I wouldn't mind seeing an aggressive front bumper, nothing crazy or ricer looking but mean lol. These guys I'm sure will make the front lip for it too in carbon, hell since my car will be there I will see about getting a lip made for the oem bumper

I've always been more of a function over form kind of person but these cars needs a CF lip and a subtle cowl hood like the STS-V. It would set these cars off just a little bit more. Especially if it can be developed to help lower underhood temps while still looking classy.
As for the spoilers, it might be difficult to develop a new one that will compete with all of the Ebay knockoffs of what used to be made by Specter Werkes and everyone else when these cars were new. But hey, creativity is key and can set yall apart so go for it. We wouldn't have this hobby/life if it wasnt for innovation.

Cowl hood
Front Lip, possibly carbon fiber
Front bumper styled like the V2
More aggressive updated rear bumper cover. The stock one looks too much like a regular cts except for it has the cutaways for the dual exhaust.

Awesome, thanks guys I will pass this info along.
Oh, and most likely I wont become a vendor here, doesn't make sense to do so with only a few CTS parts, but I will add them to my website when we are done.
