Default CS shifter support rod bushing install?

Hi guys, following the advice I read here I ordered the modified hurst shifter from Brian as well as the creative steel poly shifter support rod bushings like he mentioned here:

The '14 is a totally different setup. I do not make a short shifter for the V2.
I will be receiving the hurst shifter tomorrow and was told by Brian that it includes instructions so I am not worried about that, however, the CS bushings I received today did not include any installation instructions. Is there a write up or anything as to how to install these bushings and where they go?

Thanks,
Lucas

pull out the old ones with a pliers, lube up the new ones and press them in. there's not much to it.

Yes. You'll see them as soon as you have it opened up. They hold the side rails that attach the plate that the shifter pivot mounts to. You'll probably feel silly for asking once you get in there.

They are referenced in my instructions. You can't miss where they go once you have things apart.

It's really not a dumb question. Not knowing is all part of the learning, so good for you for not being too embarrassed about asking.

For you and everyone else here are some pictures:

Out of the car you can see the shifter linkage. The part in blue is the shifter, the part in red is our poly shifter rail bushings.

Here is a close up to what it will somewhat look like under the car. Again, Blue is the shifter and red is the poly shifter rail bushings.

Our bushings come pre-cut, so don't think that is an accident. As stated above, pull out the old, lube the new ones with a non-petro based lube, and slide them in. It is easiest when installing a new shifter, as all the work is mostly done.

Sorry, confused... Does the tranny have to be removed to replace these or can it be done in place?

They can be be replaced from inside the car. No need for the trans to come out.

I found it's a little easier to push them in from under the car, if you can get around the driveshaft.
