Default 2004-2007 cts-v grounding diagram

Does anyone out there have a grounding diagram? I have a 2006 ls2 car. can't imagine the diagram and locations will be much different

I'm having an issue with a odd misfire. That occurred after a car wash. I left the vehicle running to quickly wash the car and when i pulled out of the parking lot i had a horrible vibration and misfire. Cylinders 5,6,7,8 are dead. I can unplug those coil packs and it will not effect the idle. I'm getting fuel, idling at the house the air is saturated with fuel odor. I'm at a loss and i'm going to start hunting down all the grounds.

if anyone else has any ideas shoot them to me.

Try the two big connectors at the right of the fuse box under the hood. Unplug and see if either have water in them, if they do dry them out.

I would suspect the wire harness as it routes under the radiator and plugs into the PCM.

Yes I have. Even though it's 5678 cylinders I still checked them suckers. I will check again though. Thanks for the input. I'm taking all ideas and trying them even if I covered them already

The grounds that I know of are at the hood prop on the pasenger side and at the back of the pasengers side head.

The wire harness takes a sharp bend right there and the wires tend to rub each other and possibly break through the insulation. I had an issue with #4 coil misfiring. Couldn't find anything after swapping coils and checking the wire harness up top. I disconnected the harness to the PCM and bent the harness around. Put it back together and the issue never came back, it's been three years. I wash my engine bay with a pressure washer all the time also.

Sorry (about prev post), I knew you said 5 thru 8 but every circuit I see (including the grounds) groups them as even and odd.

The image above is for all engine variants. For our engines, locations 1,2,3,4,13, and 15 are all that are valid for our cars (underhood). None of these grounds address 5,6,7, and 8 (all grouped even and odd - location 3 even 15 odd).

Good luck on this one.

Thank you very much. Makes trouble shooting a little easier. Still a needle in a hay stack.

Good call haven't fixed it yet but look what I found...

Looks like I lost a brake vent... On the way out it caused carnage

I live in San Antonio and you hind random objects in the road occasionally and the city will do construction on the highway and leave out chunks of asphalt.

for example: driving my jetta TDI and ran over a light standard for a street light pole.

so my conclusion is...
i remember hitting a bump and a couple days latter i remember thinking i hit something. the bump dislodged my vent i guess and the thing i hit was my vent ejecting...

looks like it ripped off the zip ties and clips on the harness.

Sorry to hear/see this one. Stuff like this just makes me crazy. We all spend waaay too much time on our cars and then you get into this kind of issue (driving along minding your own business then bam!). After removing and reinstalling my blower I went for a drive around little river canyon (nice curves). On the way back a lady in a F150 (texting) does a rolling stop at a stop sign and I'm looking for a clean ditch to avoid the accident. I was able to keep it in the road but only barely. I will say that the Hawk HPS on new Centric rotors did very well (about equal to stockers with a lot less dust) both around the canyon and avoiding the accident.
