As far as the front drive assembly they all should carry over right

From what Ive heard the accessory drives are the same on all the V1s.

Anybody have an opinion whether or not an LQ9 would require a re-tune in a stock LS6 V1 if you used the ls6 cam and intake on it?

Should be close....

The LS2 I bought didn't have any accessories on it at all, (block and heads only) came from a race car...I used everything from my LS6 on it..just make sure you get the oil pick up tube O ring right or you'll regret it...as for tuning, get it tuned anyhow because the bore is bigger, and the stroke is longer...good luck and TAKE YOUR TIME swapping it out, or you'll have problems tearing it apart changing things later

The LQ9 does have a larger displacement but it also has a lower compression ratio that the LS6...I'm thinking these differences will negate each other.

Just looking for the cheapest replacement engine option for the 04-05 V1 as LS6s and 24x reluctor wheeled LS2s don't grow on trees and they aren't cheap when you do find them.
