is the ls6 in the 04-5's better then the 06-7's ls2?

pros and cons of the 04-5's and 06-7's

how do you guys like them, was also thinking a srt8 300 or jeep or tbss even though they are slow.

I think it's more just that the 04/05 is older & people are starting to get rid of them to get a newer ride, not that the 06/07s are more rare. There's more regular 03/04/05 CTSs on the market than there are 06/07s too.

Wasn't the rearend upgraded in '06? On this forum, it's been said that when an '04/'05 rear end breaks, they replace it w/the '06/'07 rear end.

The new rear is upgraded some and therefore marginally better, but they can still have problems.
