Anyone have carb'd G Body with stock Hood Just as the title says looking to see if anyone is running a carb setup with a flat factory hood.
If so what what mounts intake and air cleaner
Really want a Vic Jr but do not want a cowl hood

yes. home made mounts, drop base air filter, mr gasket 1-3/4 filter. it slightly touched the hood wit a plate system. This only left me 1/2 inbetween the carb and top plate so i bought a cowl hood

I did it on my regal, eBay setback mounts and cheap drop base air cleaner from summit. performer rpm intake on it though not sure how much taller the Vic jr is, also not sure how much clearance I had with the hood closed but I'm quite sure it wasnt much.
