Default An odd question...

I know people have changed their 93-97 front to look like 98-02.. but has anyone ever done a 98-02 to an 93-97 front? Or anything appearance close to that besides the taillights?

Just wondering.. Search yielded nothing

Why would you want to do a 98-02 to a 93-97 ?Try putting a 98-02 WS-6 nose on a 98-02 Camaro now that would be different.I have seen it done w/the 2nd gens.

I like the '93-'97 front end but I don't think I would swap a newer front end for an older one. I can understand dropping an LSx in a '93-'97 though!

I think people usually do a swap to make their car look newer, not older. Just a thought...

I've seen 4th gens with a front and rear conversion to make it look like '69. I saw one in person and had to stare at it for a minute before I realized it wasn't a '69.

Yeah, that 69 look alike is unique, but not exactly a proper argument against the point I was trying to make. That is more like a full custom retro makeover

Yeah well it's a good argument for your point of people don't do conversions to make cars look older. I wouldn't buy or build one, but people do try to make cars look older.

You can put the older front end on a newer camaro but besides for the obvious exterior changes you would have to change the intake on the LS1 to clear the lower clearence hood. I put an LS1 in my '96 and thats the only hickup I had to deal with for clearence issues.
