Default Traction Control Option? (98-02)

Where there years where the option was not availible? If so what years? Were there years where it was factory? 01-02 i'm guessing? What's the scoop?

Thumbs up

It was an option for my 99 HO SS, which I did not get, since the SS doesn't see wet roads, rain or snow.
It was the only option I did not get.

It was an option every year '98-'02. I'm not sure what year it started on the 4th gens, but it was always offered on the LS1s.

I think it's standard on the SS LE version.

Here is the answer to the traction control always being on.
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
It keeps the traction control off until you hit the switch to turn it on.
