Default TPI Wiring please HELP?????

so i have a 1992 chevy 1500 im trying to put a 1992 tpi in it..... so i got the motor to get power and turn over..... there is one white wire that i can not figure out on the factory harness on the motor... it is a hot wire and ifi ground it out it will turn the coil on....(or make it arc out). PLEASE HELP?????

Is this on the truck harness or the harness from the car, or etc etc ??

On my 87 IROC, the only white wire I remember off the top of my head was on the same connector as the power wire that pushed into the coil...it was for the tach.

What distributor as you using?

The white wire comes off the motor and would of ran in the car on the drivers side.... when you turn the key on it is a hot wire, if i ground it out through a test light and take it off the test light thel coil will arc with a spark plug in the end ofit... thanks for your help anywill be thankful
