the convertible tops, weren't all power? or were some manual? i ask because my buddy is needing to know because he found one he wants to buy and the guy is sayin its a manual top

That's what I thought as well.

There may be some conversions that have power tops, though.

I'm pretty sure that all 3rd gen convertibles were manual. Atleast all of the conversions made for GM by ASC were manual tops.
