Just bought my first camaro! lmk what you guys think!
need some clutch recommendations. not for too much power but little better than stock.
hello everyone!
ok so ive been on the hunt for a nice ls1 manual transmission camaro for awhile now to just drive daily and have some fun with until i get my C6 vette sometime next year. i found this off craigslist in fresno, ca. picked it up for $5k.
Its a silver 1998 z28 with a 6 speed with 125k. the exterior and interior i think are a 9/10. it needs a driver side window motor and a clutch. other than that the car works great. it still drives fine right now just need to replace the clutch soon. The only aftermarket part on the car for performance is a 40series flowmaster exhaust. It came with a small system, just enough bass for my liking. little bazooka tube in the trunk with an amp. i'm actually amazed at the amount of bass that come from it. must be the style of the hatch body. Anyways check out the pics and i would appreciate your feedback. also maybe some direction on where to get some good priced bolt on stuff. i dont want to dig into the motor since i'm most likely to get a C6 vette or cts-v next year and sell this one off.
thanks for your time and info!

Great find for an excellent price. Most of the time people are paying a couple grand just for the motor.
As far as the clutch, Centerforce is always a good choice. I'm running a dual friction in my 69 camaro, 408 sbc, that works very well. No issues. Good luck.

Thanks Guys. I went with the Stage 2 Monster Clutch package with the lighter flywheel and bleeder kit. Couple my friends have that setup also and are very happy with them. I'm actually thinking to sell it now haha and get a vette or cts-v again. couple little minor things need to be fixed then it will be up for grabs.
