1996 camaro 3800 /5.3 swap want to swap out a 5.3 in place of a 3800 V6 T5 manual.
Question is... Does anybody have any contacts on custom wiring harnesses for this application?
Not sure if i have to go auto. I think the only available transmission for this project would have to be the T56 from a 98 and up camaro? Any information would be appreciated.

The wiring harness is not that bad to do yourself. I did it last summer, lots of info over at LT1swap.com. I'm doing this swap right now, but I had a 3.4L. The T56 is probably the best option, or TKO 500 or 600 if you can find one.
