Bought 1995 z28 with 61000 original miles
So I sold the Trans Am in my sig and have been looking for another fbody. Started looking but couldnt find a nice one. Finally saw this one for sale on craigslist and texted the guy. Turns out I knew him from highschool. His dad bought it new in 1995 (the window sticker still in the car.) His older son bought it from the dad and the younger son bout it from the older brother so its been in the family since new. His dad worked at a Cadillac dealer ship so all the work and mods were done at the dealership by professionals. He gave me a folder with all the upgrades. The mods are slp cai, genuine SOTL exhaust, mild built trans, 4.11 gears, leather interior from gm, 17x9 gm zr1 rims, brand new tires and brakes, and 125 shot of nos. This car is super clean, well maintained, and really quick and got a really good deal for it too. I couldnt pass it up.

If you aren't planning on going too crazy I've installed a couple of the GM performance suprmatic 4L65's into F bodys with a OE GM stall converter then had them tuned and they worked out pretty nice and have a warranty.
The owners I've did them for haven't exactly taken it easy on them either. It's a jump up in reliability it's not a fully built aftermarket tranny but has good upgrades in it and solid for what it is. Granted most of us on here could blow up a steel ball barehanded it's a good trans that will hold up to a fair amount of abuse.
