Ok i have a new ignition switch for car in title. Problem is key starts car and everything fine but wont go backwards for acc. Its binding the rod. Im sure its a bad switch, but do i have to pull the steering wheel or can i just drop the cloum some??

i believe you can just drop it after unhooking the harness
Ih ave the exact same issue and doing mine tonight!

I have the new switch installed and the key will turn all the way back now, but still no accessory. Anyone know what's going on??

maybe power signal from ignition switch to BCM
