Default F-body Camaro, will hood fit inside car?

So I'm going to go see a Camaro, and if the deal works out, I will be getting spare parts.

Question is: will a stock Z28 hood fit inside of the car itself? It has an aftermarket hood on and the stock one is included. Please if anyone knows, help a brother out!

Not even close. You'll need a pick up truck or a fullsize suv.

It all depends, lol. When I brought home my first WS6 hood for my T/A I was able to put the hood into my Camaro because it was a convertible. If it's just a coupe then it won't fit, for sure. Why not just ditch the aftermarket hood, bolt on the stock hood and drive home?

Well thanks guys. I bought the car and made the hood fit. LOL. Folded back seat rest. The hood had to go in sideways. The nose of the hood was pointing towards the driver side door of the car and the hood went in very snug. Also had room for passenger but it was not comfortable. Drove 4 hours back home and it was safe in sound.

Yeah I got it to fit and drove home like that for 4 hours. I'll put it back inside and take a picture when I get the chance lol. Real tight fit on the passenger door though, make sure you have a rag to cover the corner of the hood from ripping your door interior. Seats will have to be moved all the way up and back rest will have to be pulled forward pretty far too. I'm 5'9 and it was just a little bit uncomfortable. Would not recommend for anyone taller than 6 feet tall.

Here it is, moment of truth lol. I re-mocked what I did the last time I brought it back home. Seats had to be moved up all the way for the hood to fit, then you can readjust just a little bit after when you get in.

I'm just impressed. I didn't think there was any ways that would work.

I figured the biggest challenge was going to be getting it into the car.
