What 3 speed auto trannys came in the 82-83 camaros?? My friend is looking at an 83 camaro Z/28, the guy is saying that its a th-350 tranny. My friend only wants to buy it because of the tranny, what trannys did these cars come with. I know they had 3 speed tranny's available but I don't remember if it was a th-350 someone let me know! Any help greatly appreciated!

Only the 1982 had a 3-speed trans, which was a TH-200C IIRC. In 1983 they had the TH700-R4. 3rd gens never came with a TH350, unless it was swapped in (very possible). High Output Z28s (L69 - VIN Code "G") was not available with an auto in 1983, fyi.
