What colour is your TAN 98-02 Camaro SS convertible. Hi LS1 guys,
I would like to see how rare my colour combo SS is. (red exterior with tan top tan interior 02 SS/SLP). WHAT colour is your TAN 98-02 Camaro SS convertible.

Mine doesn't have a tan top, but I can tell you that roughly 694 SS convertibles were made with that top from 98-02. 213 in 2002. There were 1,714 red SS convts made that year and 2,853 SS convertibles total (not including 35th Ann Ed). 1,714 / 2,853 = 60% of 2002 SS convts were red. Given that there was an equivalent distribution among the tops (there probably wasn't): 213 x .60 = 128. This means that there are roughly 128 2002 red SS convertibles with a tan top out there. It's a mathematical guess, but it's probably close. It gets rougher when you take auto or 6-speed into consideration. I hope this helps.
