Exclamation How many were built like this???

Hey, this is my first post on this site! My friend is looking at a 2002 sunset orange camaro ss with a 6speed, leather and it has a hard top, I heard there was only around 50 of these made like this, is this true? Let me know. Thanks.

GM kept records of numbers of color, and how many hard tops, and how many SS models, but not all together. meaning, the hard tops were random colors, SS were random colors, and the colors were random models.

almost any fbody can be narrowed down to about 50 that were EXACTLY like it, but i can say that an 02 SOM SS is pretty rare, esp in hard top. id almost say less than 50 exactly like that...but no way to verify

It's got to be rare. There is a newbie on here that just picked up a SS with leather and hard top but it's not SOM. It's the only one I can remember seeing. I have seen several with cloth and hard top.

yea most hard top SS cars were strippers, and thus came with cloth. thats why i thought it might be kinda rare.

hm..Glendale, CA, i was thinking Glendale, AZ...cool...you should come hang out with us sometime.

Sweet, sure will. I wont be back into town till the end of August, but when I get back Ill hit you up. My friend was looking into this car, its the only hard top som Ive ever seen, lol. But I dont think hes going to buy it anyways cause the guy wants 28 grand for it! Way over priced I think, considering i got mines for 14k.

yea 25 is the highest ive seen...how many miles on it?

my 'camaro had 9700 miles and i paid 16,500 for it, a year and a half ago. these days these cars should be less considering gas prices and the release is coming up on the 5th gen.

Its got 23k miles on it, I bought mines with 32k miles. My friend says its really clean, but the price is almost like it was new. Like you said, with the new one coming out these should drop a bit, but its wierd cause their not. Is that your camaro in the picture?
