It is a true 35th Ann. edition... However the stripes were added by me because of the fact only the 35th. Ann. SPECIAL EDITION came stocked with the stripes and this is not an SE. It is an auto tran. Everything can be put back to stock if a collector is interested.. also I had no idea there was a forum I could have posted this in for selling... Or maybe I just didn't look close enough... sorry.

He wasn't confused. Whether you know it or not, you are missrepresenting the car. All 2002 Camaros have the 35th Anniversary dash plaque. The 35th Anniversary Camaro SS, as Chevrolet calls it, is a limited edition car that we usually call the 35th Anniversary Special Edition, or the 35th Anniversary Limited Edition, or even as Chevrolet does, the 35th Anniversary Camaro. This car is an SS that was sold with the 35th Anniversary Apperance Package which consisted of special wheels, badging, embroidered front seats, anodized calipers, red with stripe package exterior, special leather seats, and a special mat.
I've even seen one guy trying to sell his pewter 6-cyl Camaro as a 35th Anniversary Camaro, pricing it at what KBB priced the SLP SS 35th Anniversary [Special] Edition because of the dash plaque. Apparently, it was an honest mistake as he was ignorant, and the dealer who sold him the car showed him the dash plaque and the KBB price for the SLP SS Special Edition as he overcharged him $12k for the used Camaro.
Edited after I reviewed my 2002 sales brochure

35th Ann Edition
I see this way to often. It is not this guys fault. I dont think he was trying to pass his off as a collectors edition car. Every 2002 camaro was a 35th anny car, it was camaros 35th anniversary!!!! I noticed immediately that the stripes were off. I couldn't tell if it was the grille throwing me off at first or the stripes. The 2002 35th anniversary Collectors Edition was the limited model that his car favors. Ive had mine since 2002 and have seen many copycats. Thats what people do its a free country just dont try and con anyone by saying you have something you don't!
