spohn motor mount for gbody
Has anyone tried these mounts in a gbody . They look alot like the JohnB mounts.
Mainly I was just wondering about where they place the motor in relation to stock.
Also I have a set of new brp engine mounts and trans crossmember for sale if anyones interested.

I used a set of moroso camaro mounts and welded them to the frame then used a set of adaptor plates off ebay my front pulley is about 1" behind the front sway bar. there is pleanty of clearance around everything except for the lower frame I notched the frame and weled material back in to rebox the frame again. I also used the stock trans. cross member I extended the mounting pad for the trans. mount. This is all in a a 1985 Grand National with a 2003 4.8 truck motor I am planning to install a 70mm turbo by reusing the manifolds.

Im not useing them because the set the motor 1 5/8" forward I think. Probably not an issue for a cruiser or mild performance build, but I want my motor as far back as possible within reason.
deuce are you swapping an lsx into a gbody?
I ordered the car shop inc mounts last night (like the transdapt ones I think) and I will probably order the spohn mounts also just to see what works better.
If your going to have your motor in soon Id like to hear some feed back on them .
Good Luck

These mounts can be slide back due to the new frame mount, I have had customers run the kit in OEM location with the stock 200R4 and driveshaft with the CTS-V oil pan as long as they relocate the A/C or notch or dump the compressor. Our hedders fit both locations without mods when using our kit, the customer did have to trim the outer martial off the control arms if I’m not mistaken.
Thanks and good luck.
