Default Header Question

I have a set of Headman headers PN #500-69670 For a Jeep Chevy V8 Conv 1972-86, They are specifically for a 283-400ci Chevy. Are all Chevy exhaust port in the same configuration? I am looking to bolt them to a LS6 that I am swapping into a TJ

no the gen I heads are completely different from the gen III to IV heads. you would have to get headers specific for a gen III ls6 swap for your jeep. the exhaust ports on the gen I have the two middle cylinder exhaust ports right next to each other where the gen III style (ls6) have the exhaust ports evenly spaced out, kind of like the old syle big blocks. unless you got a gen III header flang and modified the tubes. i don't know how attached you are to those headers.
