Starting problems After tranny swap
Well I just put a 4l60E in that I got from a member here, got everything but the switch on the drivers side of the transmission in and buttoned up and now the car wont start. It turns over, but the fuel pump isn't running, and the injectors aren't firing. Would that switch be why it isn't starting? I don't see it linked anywhere in the starting circuit or anything, and the selector shaft on the new tranny is too short for the switch to fit on. Any ideas would be great. Thanks.

When I removed the tranny, I didnt remove any ground straps. They are all attached behind the cylinder head. I can bypass the FP relay to get it to turn on, but still no injector firing. I Jump a pin on the connector (dont remember which one) but it got the fuel pump to run, but still no injectors...does this connector really play such a big role in just starting the engine?

Its just your basic LQ4/4L60E into a 1995 Impala SS. I just swapped 4L60Es because my original was slipping when shifting. I'll check the crank sensor. I don't have spark because If I bypass the fuel pump relay, it still won't start. Just turns over. I can hear the fuel pump running, but the comp isnt triggering the IGN coils.
