I'm waitin on a video man! I just got my project on the street last weekend ( '78 280z with a 355 sbc and th350) it's a blast to drive. It will, however be getting the "spare" engine in the garage, with a few upgrades!
Not that anyone cares, or it matters, but what kind of MPG do you get? How is the stock stall? Though, I'm sure you probably don't need it to hit the tires any harder lol.

I have gotten as high as 32 mpg on the freeway doing about 80 mph. Around town it gets around 15-20, depending on my mood.
The stock stall works for me, if I were ever to change it would prob be a stock Trailblazer I6 4.2 converter.
Take care.

Took the car to the track for the first time. I was only able to run once since it was so packed, but it ran a 12.2 @117 mph on my bald street tires (2.2 60ft). Even so, I am pretty sure could of nailed a 11.9 or better with the current setup if I was able to secure more runs. Next on my shopping list is a set of slicks or drag radials. Then maybe a 150 shot of nitrous to get me kicked out for running into the 10's w/o a roll bar.
The I6 4200 Trailblazer converter will flash to about 2800-3000 behind my motor. Not sure I'd want more than that since its pretty much my daily-driver now.
Naw, just our cell phone camera's
It a stock steel Datsun hood with a 4" fiberglass cowl (bought off eBay in 2006) that is riveted and molded in. It was on my Big Block Chevy 454 powered Datsun Z prior to this car.
There is a guy on eBay right now selling whole fiberglass cowl hoods for S30's for $300 + shipping....

Painted!!
Finished yesterday, it was mostly a DIY job. I did most of the bodywork and a buddy sprayed the paint in his shop (no booth). The paint is GM gloss with single stage urethane enamel with House of Kolor custom mixed cobalt blue metallic Rallye style stripes. In a month it'll get cut and buffed to improve minor flaws. Its not show worthy, but good enough for my daily driver and will always be kept clean, garaged, and polished/waxed.
Enjoy!!
Enjoy!!

A few updates, installed a Torsen LSD in the rear end along with 3.90 rear gears, put a RevMax 3200 stall converter in the car, installed a set of ASA injectors (28.8's were near max duty cycle), and then tuned using a wideband O2.
I also bought a set of Hoosier 255/50/16 drag radials and a HSW 150 kit (still need MircoEdge Controller).
Now I just need a Friday night off when the local track is open and see what she'll do.

First off: beautiful car Ford_Assassin!
I swear, reading through these threads is just begging for trouble since the wife is already aggravated enough as it is simply from me thinking about buying a 2nd car, let alone putting this kind of money into it.. I should leave before I get in too deep, but its like an addiction I tell ya!
