Default ls1 into a 96 3.8 firebird

i have a ls1 and a 99 harness and computer. i have downloaded the schematic for the 99 retrofit. question is will i be able to use my stock cluster as far as the oil pressure and water temp guages or will i have to use a 99 cluster. what sending units do i need to buy 98 or 99. thanks for any help yall can do for me.

99+ sensors are a must with 99 harness and ECU

This guy had a full parts car at his disposal, but he posted a lot of pictures and explained how his swap went. I bet he could answer some questions for you.

the last 98+ V6 to LS1 swap we did in house left us wishing we had a full parts car to do the swap. I couldn't recommend having a donor car on hand any more.

I used the Gauges in my 1995 and they work without a problem.
