Need help car will turnover but not start.
Car isnt getting any spark and i cant figure out why.
2000 Camaro auto harness and ecu. In my 85 BMW e30
I put a t56 behind it and just left the tranny plugs diconnected.
I had the VATS removed and some other things adjusted by hptuner.
I have both the ign banks connected to switched power.
The pcm is getting power says the hptuner.
I just cant figure out why i am not getting any spark.
Could it be from it being an auto harness without an auto tranny?
LIke i said. I have the starter wired to the key so it turns over but it just isnt getting any spark.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Motor, harness, and ECU came out of a 2000 camaro.
I was told the block and internals were from an 04 gto.
I know it has the camaro intake, 241 heads, and ls2 coils.
Is there anything i need to hook up when converting the auto setup to a six speed?

Need more help.
I got the coils to fire, i just had to cut the grounds going to the coils from the ecu and ground them to the body.
But im not getting any ground pulse from the injectors.
I have power on run and start but no pulsing from the ground wire.
Any ideas on what this could be?

Recheck and reground everything, engine to frame, frame to body, battery to body, battery to frame, battery to engine if you can. If you've had one ground problem already maybe that's it. That's all I can think to do. Make sure your harness to your injectors are correct, I remember someone saying they flipped a connector in the injector wiring somehow.
Good luck

you physically checked power to the coils and injectors when in the start position? I had the same issue with a harness that I purchased that had the power to the coils in the wrong spot. When you turned to start the power would cut out and no inj or coil pulse. Also are you using a noid light to check your pulse on the injectors? Sometimes a test light wont light fast enough to pick up the pulse. Other than that, double check all of your grounds for the PCM and the engine, chassis etc.

I used a volt meter to check the currency on the ground for the injectors and nothing.
But i can spray gas into the throttle body and it will run.
I know there is a fuel pump ground wire.
Is it possilbe that if the ecu senses that it isnt hooked up so it will keep the injectors from working to keep them from burning up?

Neutral safety?? Or PNP as sometimes its called.
You say it rolls over.....how did you wire this circuit to the starter???? Like did you use your BMW cars factory wiring from your ignition switch to power/control the starter?? Cuz if you did that, thats why itll roll, cuz its a direct signal from the ignition switch. Or if you used the wires/relays from the LS1 to control the starter then I cant really help you with my explanation. Your LS1 auto harness wants/needs to see the trans in PARK or NEUTRAL to allow the engine to fire. There are threads on here that talk about which wires to join from the trans connector to make it work. Good luck.
