Default problems getting my 5.3 to run!!!

i got it to crank. but it dies right after it cranks. its out of a 2001 truck. and yes i have disabled vats. i get 4 codes right after cranking.
0107 map low input
0122 tps sensor low input
0713 tft sensor circuit high input
0748 pc solenoid.
will any of these keep me from cranking? also i havent wired up the 02s yet. any suggestions?

Does it stop during cranking or just die after firing?

If it stops during cranking my first thought is possibly poor grounds, low or bad battery.

If it fires and dies immediately I would wonder if there is a wiring issue in the harness. No offense intended but did you build the harness? Maybe you missed getting power to or grounding something (been there).

i think the map sensor code(0107) is whats messing me up. im going to fix that problem first. i know the motor wont run if the map isnt working.

TPS is more important than the MAP. Neither are reading a low signal (ground side). Check the circuit, you may have gotten them switched

well, i got it running! turns out i didnt have vats disabled. now, i have a couple new problems. the truck wont turn off by the igntion switch. the only way i could get it to shut off was by unhooking the battery. which tells me the alternater isnt charging! still got more work to do.

Right on, good to hear you got it running. Thats always such a relief. I had trouble with my conversion too.

Could there be an issue with the ignition switch?? Double check your wiring from your trucks igntion switch to your new harness. What harness did you use??

sounds like all the switched pcm circuits are going to constant 12v instead of being switched 12v

how do i go about checking this? after the motor is running, if i turn the ignition switch off the motor stays running. i have a wire jumping from the red power junction box to the fusebox. if i unhook this wire when the ignition switch is off the motor dies. if i unhook the wire when the switch is turned on, the motor stays running. without this jumper wire hooked up i dont get anything. no ignition, fuel pump, anything! what do i need to do here?

fuel pump, ignition and engine sensors need switched 12V, check for proper voltage with the switch in both positions
